Audiqueen Analytics includes a number of tools for querying Audiqueen’s database.
Patient Query
If you wish to search for patients who meet certain criteria and find a specific test result for those patients.
An example is: please provide me with the speech audiometry results with a cochlear implant (CI), measured three months after implantation, for patients diagnosed with Usher syndrome who received a CI between the ages of 20 and 40.
Audiqueen then searches for suitable patients and provides a list of the desired results, as well as the average. Furthermore, these results can be exported to Excel.
This query will perform best if you have made full use of keywords and events.
è See this support page for more details.
Manage Studies
If you wish to carry out a retrospective or prospective study in which, in relation to an event (usually a surgical procedure), you wish to identify certain test results at different time points before or after the event.
An example is: please provide the unaided audiometry and aided speech audiometry results at 3 months pre-implantation, as well as at 3 months, 1 year and 3 years post-implantation, for patients with postlingual deafness caused by a COCH mutation who underwent implantation between the ages of 50 and 60.
Audiqueen will now search the database for all suitable patients, retrieve the requested test results and calculate the averages. You can then export all the individual results into a single Excel file.
Alternatively: from now on, I would like to introduce a clinical pathway whereby all patients who receive a CI undergo an audiometry test one month post-CI, an audiometry test and a speech audiometry test at three months, and a speech audiometry test at one year.
From now on, Audiqueen will display a message when such a patient arrives at the department at a time when a test is required, so that you do not forget to carry out that test in accordance with the protocol. Audiqueen can also list the patients who, for example, are due to be tested in two months’ time as part of a specific clinical pathway, so that you can contact them in good time.
This feature will perform best if you have made full use of keywords and events.

AudioTips
If you would like to receive a tip or alert as soon as you save one or more test results that meet certain criteria.
An example is: please let me know when I finish an audiometry test that reveals moderate hearing loss in one ear and very severe loss in the other. The message should then be that I should consider a BICROS hearing aid fitting.
Audiqueen will then display this message as soon as I save a suitable audiogram.
