Note: this section only applies to Audiqueen versions starting from 3.5.  Click here for older versions.

Audiqueen requires a valid licence.  This contains a use right for a certain period (typically one year).  Upon expiry, the licence needs to be reactivated.  If not, Audiqueen’s functionality will be reduced to a minimum.  Audiqueen shall not completely stop so that you’ll always have access to the medical data of your patients.

How can I check the status of my use licence?

Click on the Audiqueen crown top-left and then on About.

The licence line shows the remaining time before expiry:

How do I know that my licence expires?

In most cases, you will not notice anything.  After paying your annual contribution, Audiqueen tries to renew your use licence automatically.

If unsuccessful, Audiqueen shows the following message:

If you don't have Audiqueen Administrator rights, you should inform the IT manager or system administrator that the licence needs to be reactivated.  He/she should do this manually (see below).  For now, you can continue to work after clicking the Skip Activation & Start Audiqueen.

How can the licence be reactivated manually?

Open the Audiqueen Administrator Tools. You can only log in with an Audiqueen account that has Administrator rights.

Then click on Licences.

A new form will open that shows you the installed Audiqueen licence(s). Click reactivate.

A new window will open again asking you to reactivate the licence. Press the button Reactivate Licence.

After clicking on this button, a message should appear that confirms the reactivation.

Your licence has been reactivated. You can now close the Licence Manager.

In case your computer has no internet connection, you'll have to proceed with manual activation, as explained on this support page.
