Click on this support page as a good starting point for understanding Custom Test Types.
Nystagmography (ENG/VNG) results are stored as a report file containing the details of the measurement. The report can be extended with structured/numerical information using synopsis parameters: Total Response, Directional Preponderance, Reflexia, etc.
There are two ways to enter ENG results into Audiqueen.
- If your measuring apparatus allows you to make a test report (typically a pdf file) with the test results, Audiqueen’s Easy File Attach will do the job for you.
- Audiqueen opens the software that comes with the apparatus, then you perform the test, save the report, close the application, and Audiqueen will fetch and import the report automatically.
- For this you can use the built-in ENG custom test (see How do I add a built-in Custom Test? & How to configure the Easy File Fetcher? ).
- If your measuring apparatus can only create a printed report, you can scan this document and Audiqueen then allows you to enter this pdf manually. If the scanner is connected to Audiqueen, this is a very easy and seamless operation.
For this, you can use the built-in AB custom test (see How to set up a document scanner ).
The ENG/VNG results are summarized in the list showing the stimulus used and the indices. Audiqueen displays a preview of the report.
The original report can be readily opened with the recommended software (e.g. Acrobat Reader for pdf reports).
This feature is not available in the web viewer. Audiqueen's web viewer displays the results entered in Audiqueen's Workstations. |
