How do I create a new patient record?

If Audiqueen is connected to your EMR (Electronic Medical Record), patients are created in the EMR.  They cannot be created in Audiqueen.  Some patients’ data can be edited in Audiqueen (see Edit Patient).

If Audiqueen is not connected to an EMR (Electronic Medical Record), you can create a new patient upon opening Audiqueen or by clicking on the Audiqueen logo in the upper left corner and then Load Another Patient.

In this window, enter the patient’s data.  Audiqueen shortlists existing patients that may match the patient you are looking for.  If your patient is on the list, you should not create a new patient but rather select the correct patient from the list.  If your patient is not within the shortlist, click Make New to create a new patient file.
