How can I add structured variables (a synopsis) to custom tests?

Custom tests are saved as documents, which is different from most built-in tests. The latter are fully numerical and Audiqueen can then calculate summary variables. But even with custom tests, you can add structured variables which are then available for future analysis or display. This is how it works.  Click on this support page as a good starting point to understand Custom Test Types.



The instructional video on Test Management shows how to create custom tests.




Edit a custom test through the Test Management window.



Add a parameter:



Define the parameter and its features:



This way you can create multiple structured variables and designate one to be the formal test index:



Once this is done, you can attach values to a test result. Use the Synopsis button for this purpose:




Example of the synopsis. The user enters the specific values for this test, 
which are in this case (ABR) the threshold, and the peak III and V latencies. 
These variables can be created and modified by the user.



This feature is not available in the web viewer.
