Keywords are useful for selecting patients in Audiqueen Analytics.  They can be assigned one by one to a patient.  See here how to do so.

But you also can import a series of keywords for a range of patients from your EMR into Audiqueen in one go.  The keywords must be provided as a csv file. If your EMR contains keywords, you can ask your system administrator to generate the corresponding csv file.

Each line of this csv file should be structured as follows:

ID; Keyword; [S]

  • The default separator is ; (This can be changed, but each line must have two separators)
  • ID = unique patient identifier of the hospital EMR
  • Keyword = keyword belonging to this patient
  • [S] = side to which the keyword applies (optional)
  • The default values are 0 for right, 1 for left, and 2 for bilateral, but these codes can be changed if need be.

You can search for certain patient types in your EMR, export the patient IDs to MS Excel, manually add a keyword, save this as a csv file and import the entire list into Audiqueen.

Example: The file Keywords.csv contains 6 keywords
for 5 different patients. Only one keyword is side-specific.

Now open the tool in Administrator Tools and import the csv file.

A keyword csv file is selected (1) and Audiqueen generates a preview of its content (2).

Through Keyword Mapping, Audiqueen then tries to convert the EMR keywords into Audiqueen keywords.

In the Keyword Mapping Window, Audiqueen displays a list of EMR keywords (1), consisting of known (previous) EMR keywords and how they are converted to Audiqueen keywords (2).

The user can also see the current keywords to be imported (3), which are not yet mapped into Audiqueen keywords.

You can map these ‘orphan’ keywords by selecting a keyword from the list (4) and moving it with the arrow to the conversion table (5).

In this example, Allergic and Achondroplasia are mapped to existing Audiqueen keywords.
Also, the keyword Achondrolplasia from the EMR is mapped to the correct Audiqueen keyword Achondroplasia.
The EMR keyword Fake Keyword is not mapped, which means that it will not be imported into Audiqueen.

After the import, the keywords appear in the Audiqueen records.
